Start with connectionPractise a small response in an easy setting. - 3
Solve one everyday problemChoose a guide for the situation you face today. - 4
Try a little thinking timeAdd safe sniffing and searching to the day. - 5
Build a steady routineUse our free plan to practise at your dog’s pace.
You do not need a complete training overhaul today. Pick the situation that is making life difficult, then choose one easy lesson.
Check safety first. Bites, aggression, severe fear, distress when alone or sudden unexplained changes call for veterinary or qualified behavior support. Keep people safe with distance and barriers.
What is happening?
Barking at noises or passersby →Struggling to settle →Jumping during greetings →Ignoring familiar cues →Pulling on walks →Looking for something to do →Puppy teeth on everything →A new puppy at home →
Choose a smaller goal
Replace “behave all day” with something observable: turn toward you in a quiet room, keep paws down as a familiar adult approaches, or walk two steps with a loose leash.
Write down what works
Record the situation, the small response and how you rewarded it. Repeat a comfortable success before increasing difficulty. If your dog cannot manage, change the setup.
